Getting mixed opinion will 37/13.5/17 fit on stock steel rim?

If I do get them on will the extra bulge rub badly on the control arms?

Has any members used wheel spacers to rectify this rubbage?

I had them on a 17x8 and they work but are a pain to dismount from the rim later. The height of the 37 is the issue coupled with the bulge of the 13.50 Toyo on the control arms but it can be remedied easy with steering stops on the knuckles. Any narrower of a wheel than 8" I dont think would be good with that tire.

 

I ran a set of 37X14.50-17 Toyo A/Ts on my stock alum. wheels (17X8) with no problems other than slight rubbing of the control arms at full lock.

 

They say not to use a 13.50 on anything less than a 9" wide wheel.
