I think they would be too wide for how tall they are. Thats just my personal opinion though. I have 325-60-18's that are too wide for how tall they are. When I buy tires again I willbe going with a 325-65-18, that will make it a 35" tire and should look more propertional.

Unless you spec the rims' backspacing properly, that rubber will stick out of the fenderwells like a ricer!

What tire are you talkin bout. I didn't know they made a 33X14.50X17.

As soon as get a CTD thats whats goin on it.

If it's a 2 gen 33X14.50 Super Swamper SSRs on a 16.5X12 wheel
If it's a 3rd gen 33X15.50 Mickey thompson MTZs on 18X12 DC 1 wheels.

You'd choose a half-size wheel?

Tires are cheaper in 16.5s and you have a greater amount of sizes and styles to choose from.

Yeah Swampers are only 220 each in 16.5 and 265 each in 16.

I could run a 16X12 and have some different tire choices, MTs, Nitto, Swamper but I can get a good deal on the tires and a good deal on the rims.

Eagle alloy 058s 16.5X12 for 100 each shipped to my door. I'll only have about 1300 in wheels and tires. Now if I get a 3rd gen (have to run that 18) and lookin more at 1900 for wheels and tires. I think 180 each for the wheels and 325 each for the tires.

12" wide rims would look

unless you were going for the cover of Lowrider Truckin then you would get mad props from that kind of crowd. I wouldnt park that truck in a bad part of town.

Ive seen it done with some liberal grinding of the caliper.

Why such a wide wheel? That size tire will fit just fine on a 10" wheel. Your ball joints will thank you if stick with a 10".

I like my tires to stick out pass my fenders.

In high school since me and buddies didn't have alot of money to spend on good tires we would get Maxxis Mudders like a 33X12.50 and then put them on a 15X12 or a 16.6X12 rim bow them out.

We all thought it looked good but the tires wore very weird and very fast with like 65psi in them. It also rode real rough.

Maybe it's just my town but alot of poeple run 14.50s. Some on 12 inch wheels, some 10 inch wheels.
