315's A/T tire pressure?

What's the tire pressure do you guys usually run on your 315's (not towing)? What's the max pressure can you put in these tires? Thanks.

Re:315's A/T tire pressure?

I think the max pressure is different on the 16 and 17 inch versions.

On my 16 inch the max is 50psi.

I run 50 up front, and they still look low, and 40-45 in back and they look just right.
I tried 50 in back and they were too bouncy.

If I ever had the opportunity to tow something, I'd probably put more in the rears.

Re:315's A/T tire pressure?

Did the 315/70/17's fit without a lift? Did you have to install a leveling kit? I still have my stock tires and want to go bigger. How big can I go if I install a leveling kit?

Thanks,
Steve

Steve -

315's will fit without a lift. I did not have to use a leveling kit. It fits very nicely.

Shaft, Since we both have the same gears and both are 3500's what if any effect has it had on your mileage? Did you do anything about the speedometer being off? You wouldn't happen to have any pictures with the 315's on would you?

I'm pretty sure I'm the fuel efficiency has gone down a little due to the obvious fact that the 315's are heavier and have more road friction. I did not do anything to my speedo because it's only 5 mph slower than the actual speed of the truck.
