22.5" vs 3.42 swap vs new G56 swap

Recently swapped to 3:42 (and Dynatrac hubs) from 3:73 and this put the rpms at 60mph at 1750 or so, in line with what I saw in my old 93 12v 3/4ton. Seems just right to me. Still has plenty of power, with stock engine, stock tire sizes.
This on a 2007 3500 SRW. Used AAM rear (11.5") and the GM front with spacer. Job done at Randy's Ring and Pinion.
Was concerned about durability with the overdrive.
