2006 rail pressure

Can someone advise me as to what safe rail pressures should be
I am running an edge ez at the moment which I bought awhile back before I got my fuel pressure gsuges
Perhaps I need a smart jr instead
From what I have read so far it seems as though and correct me if I am wrong that around 17k-23k is ok
I can easily stay in that ball park if I want to with my EZ on level 1
Switch to level 2 and now 25k-27 k is easy to achieve
Switch to level 3 and now 27k-30 k no problem
Of course under light throttle RP is down in the low teens on any setting
The edge makes egts hot too I have noticed
My RP gauge is connected dirrectly to the RP sensor too not the EZ output
Thx

You should keep rail pressures under 26.5k, which is about the maximum for the Cummins.

I'd recommend the Smarty, I love my CR on my wife's truck and Household Six herself has told me not to remove it from SW #5 unless she gives permission to do so.
