There are stickers on the side of the engine on the drivers side along the head. Read them.

In 2004 they dropped the CA and on January 4th 2004 the 325hp or 600 series engines showed up. If you valve cover says 305 you have a 2004, not 2004.5 engine.
The 305/555 was not the triple nickle. The triple nickle was a 555 Cummins that was in the seventies and early eighties it was a small V8 to compete with Cats 3208 it was used in a lot of agriculture machines.
