05 DODGE Questions
My buddy has a 05 3500 auto and was wondering if u can put in a boost elbow.?
I know on the 02 and eariler u can't unless its a manual tranny but just currious as to where it goes of it does on an auto.?
Also, hes putting in a Tanny temp. gauge and was wondering where to put the senser in the transmission.. is there a dumby plug somewhere.? If so anyone have any pics they could put up for a fella....?
Thanks

Not sure if the boost elbow will help on the 05's and up since there electronically opened (no vacume/pressure) waste gate. All electronics, but there may be an elbow??
Tranny gauges, I like the hot side of the transmission, so you can see what the temp is coming out of the transmission to see how hot you actually got the fluid, if it's hot here you know to change it. Some others throw it in the pan, you see them temps going into the tranny. Again it's what you want to see. I like to know what it came out at cause if it's comming out too hot you know to change, but going in, it'll be a lot cooler so you never really know if you fryed the fluid or not?... But again everybody has there preference.
