04.7 600 boost *have to drill" correct?

04.7 600 boost *have to drill" correct?

please tell me THAT the correct way for the 600 with a inner cooler is you have to tap/drill the intake!! correct?? you can not replace a bolt like the older engines!!

I have a boost bolt on my 03. I can't imagine that it has changed in two years....

Not sure what an 04.7 is....but if it is the same as my 04.5 the boost bolt works just fine.

I did not like the size of the boost bolt, to much meat gone on that small of a bolt for my taste. So I drilled and tapped . See pictures in my members photos!!

Piers boost bolt worked fine on my 325/600. Take a look.

i drilled & tapped my intake horn for my boost piping on my 04. took the whole intake horn off to do the work... much easier than on the truck. and it was free and quicker than waiting for a boost bolt
