For various reasons, I am thinking about the feasibility of converting from DRW to SRW. There has been previous discussion on this, but concerning earlier trucks. I have a possible chance to buy a wrecked 04 SRW and would use the complete axle (same ratio) and bed. I would guess that the spring attachment points are the same on the axles so that it would be a spring down conversion? I'm told the electronics system would have to be reflashed for tire/brake configuration changes. I would anticipate keeping my original setup for use later as truck needs change. Please give me your thoughts on any other problem areas/pitfalls. Thanks.

 

I am the exact opposite I would like to go from SRW to DRW...Where are you located we can do a swap...
