I can answer your first question. With the Extreme stack 200hp/400tq and they highly recommend 4" exhaust - and gauges, of course. They don't say how much the lower stack programs do. Craig

Mine put down 503 hp with the stock turbo. Egt's were 1500 @ 3200 rpm when I shut it down on the dyno. Bullydog/ez stack 376 hp.

Def go with the Predator stack. No complaints, great power, and even some smoke on extreme. You will however need tranny mods, it slips my converter pretty good, especially with the puck turned on, even with the predator on performance tow. Got mine for $380 from thorobred too.

03rmk,dang 503 on just that stack, whew I'm just lookin for 400 but then again I have the SO 250 horse motor so I'm wonderin how much of a difference that would make.

I'm still wonderin how much a power a triple lock TC, valvebody, and billet input will take. I don't tow of plan to race it at the drag races just playin around but I'd rather over build then under build and end up doin it again.

KVD, when I installed the diablo stack and went for a test drive,I just couldn't belive the difference from the bd/ez stack I had. I couldn't slip the clutch with the bd/ez combo, as soon as I drove it with the diablo it was clutch time. I barely broke the clutch in and we had a dyno day up here. Most of the guys were . I'd like to dyno again and see what it does with the new turbo and water/meth.

I also have the predator alone and quite like it but I'm not after top power. I also haven't noticed the mileage gain they claim. I'm thinking of trying a Smarty because I know it doesn't do pressure. I believe the predator does a small amount of pressure but it's a little hard to get a definite answer from those guys.
I didn't see any Smarty dealers at the Extreme diesel event this weekend or I think I would have one now.

Well it looks like Predator seems to be the fav. After looking at it I agree for $380 it can't be beat. I will have to be easy on it until I can get the TC and VB upgraded.

Does anyone know if that price really is a sale price and I should move on it, or has Thoroughbred always had that stack for that price? I sure would hate to miss it have to pay regular price.

I think a smarty would be a step backwards. I'm really close to getting a Puck to stack and hope to find a fairly high hp combo without the pressure clatter. I just talked to Diablo again and they still aren't much help with specific tech info. Craig

Why would you think a SMARTY is a step backwards?
Someone here had a 156hp/306tq gain with just the SMARTY on a stock '03/auto.

HappyGA is the 03 that did that with the smarty I was there and that was with a slippin factory trans.

I'm wonderin how a quad only XZT pressure boost foolin only would do? I only say that became my friends is gonna upgrade (he has the 100 horse quad on his 03) and he said I could have it since he only gave 125 for it used on ebay.

I'm still think I'm gonna wait, one thing I'm gonna do the tranny first, second I'm hopin the predator will be shift on the fly for these trucks in a lil while thats the only deal breaker so far.
