I think I have read this before but I can't find it now. Is there a easy way to replace my lift pump with a air dog, fass, or other brand without dropping the tank or raising the bed on my year model truck? I was thinking I read there was something different about my year model that the draw tube was not a problem after the fuel level getting below a 1/4 tank.

 

Yes, the feed line to your choice of pump connects to the stock feed tube. Pretty simple install. The stock pump harness even gets used to just plug and play to the new pump. Here's a link to the install manuals off of GDP's web site. He carries the Air Dog, Raptor and Walbro pumps. These manuals will give you a good idea of what you would be getting into. 2003-2004.5 are the same models all with the stock pump on the back of the filter housing.
