03 ctd can,t make over 28 psi boost!!!

I have an 03 305HP, and My gauge stops at 23psi, and will not go any higher, on occasion, If I hit it hard, it will jump to 25, but quickly drop back to 23.
Is there something I can do to get more out of it, I just thought the Banks 6 Gun was keeping things in check. I don't like it, but it is what it is until I get my SMARTY in.

03 design boost
According to TDR issue 51 magazine the 03 HO boost spec is 26 psi and the SO is 23 psi. Maybe your wastegate is limiting your max boost. Just a thought.

so then as it sounds the only option is to change the waste gate to make more psi. any mods besides just replacing it though? and yes i've turned my settings up to 42 psi just to see!!!

i dunno but i know if its on extreme level and i'm goin like 75 it will jump to at LEAST 35lb's pretty much instantly ill try to take a pic after i fix my overheating issue
