**ATTENTION BOB OR MARCO*** I might have a problem here......
So my buddy has a 05 and he just downloaded some new software to his SMARTY.....BUT he forgot to take it back to stock before he erased the Smarty and loaded the new software!!!!!
is this going to be a problem???
If he plugs it back in will Smarty think his old Smarty SW#8 is his stock program?????
he has NOT plugged it in yet... I told him to wait and I would ask the pros....
any help would be MUCH MUCH appreciated!!!!

You are okay to do it though. If something were to happen just call Bob, he will take care of it lickety split. No worries!

Okay you were the only one I remembered reading that about. Something just didn't go right. For the last 2 years thats the way I have been doing it. Many other guys do the same thing. Things happen sometimes!

You should be cruisin' along fine. I have never returned my truck to stock and I have downloaded many diff. tunes and just gone to the truck & reprogrammed it.
I actually have not done it in a while since I popped in the 4.4.
