What will running a tank of low sulfer instead of ultra low sulfer do to a 2009 Cummins?

 

You can run this with no issues, the truck might regen some more then normal. Just do not make a practice of this for the long term. I know that I ran a half tank when in Kentucky camping last summer with no problems.

I'm not sure I ran it, but I got the P2000 code and my dealer told me it could have been LSD.

 

sounds like the dealer was just looking for an opportunity for it to be YOUR FAULT.

 

When I was in Parker Arizona last winter there was a station selling LSD, and my 06 truck sure liked it, seemed I got better mileage, more miles per tank, super save or something like that, they also sold ULSD but it cost more.

 

I hear that

 

terribles in parker has it and there's one down on i-10 about 17 miles east of quartzite.

The last time that I checked, the Somerset Sunoco plaza on the Pa. turnpike had LSD at the truck pumps.

 

I accidently filled mine with LSD and the only thing that happened was 23MPG on the trip. Went back to ULSD and now at 19!!!

 

That station is at the Vicksburg exit off I-10 and it's called Zips. I just filed up there twice last week with my big tank and all they sell is LSD (bought nearly 140 gallons of LSD). They don't carry ULSD.

$1.51 per gallon, and my truck is much happier, runs better, and better fuel mileage. It even smokes a little now when I get on it.

I hate ULSD.

 

I filled up in illinois at a truck stop on a road trip, and also in mississippi at a truck stop on the interstate headed to alabama.
