i need some help guys i have an 07 cab and chasis truck with 5000 miles on friday the truck started to smoke white smoke from the pipe i was inside a chemical plant so i was going slow also i have never notice my truck go in to that reven mode i think thats how u spell it i tow every day with that truck a 40 ft trailer i have the 6.7 once i stop i tur it off and then turn it back on it stop it hasnt done it again i didnt lose any power should i worried about this also check the comp over head for any warnings but it said systems were okay

 

also i have idle the truck a lot should i get the high idel any body knows who does it in houston area

 

I have the same truck and engine with 9300 miles on it and I have it in the shop with injector problems, it blew white smoke as well, but then it shut down. Is your engine running rough or was there any change to the way it felt or sounded afterwards, it may have just been a regen.

 

that day i did fill my tank up and i didnt realise that i had put regular disel untill it was full i didnt get to go to the gas station that i usually fill up but the truck is running just has good
