called dealer, replaces oxygen sensor as under certain circumstances it won't report a problem, reflash ecm to recognize new part, wont have parts for 7 to 10 days.

Great, had mine in last week to reprogram the ECU and now it shows up on the list to be done. I've always had great timing.

Just replaced the o2 on my truck and they had 26 on back order so I figured there was a problem. The controller is mounted on the frame next to the exhaust.

I'm actually glad to see the recall. My dealer wouldn't give me the AU flash - now he'll have to. Maybe it will fix my P2000 code. Did anybody see a new recall about a driveshaft problem on manual transmission trucks?

Called my dealer and they have the O2 sensors in stock, so I have an appointment to get it done this Monday. Service advisor says I can wait for it if I want, shouldn't take more than 1 to 1.5 hours (famous last words). So, I'll let you know how it goes as soon as it's done.
