Beast has been described. (ALSO: 4x4) What kind of mpg are owners getting from these on a regular basis. Towing and empty would be appreciated.

Try CumminsOwnerz.com for strictly 6.7 info.

thanks for the replies... I have a customer (RV winter visitor) that has the above described truck. They have 13k on it and they say it's beating them sensless in fuel cost. In reviewing his notepad with fuel/mileage data they have been ranging 7-9 pulling, and claim they are only getting 12-13 empty. They did get as high as 15 once (tailwind, started at higher elevation to lower). Also the trailer is over 16k. Kind of hard to know what to tell people in this situation. Even if they wanted to pursue the issue Chrysler often doesn't give a hang what the mpg is......as long as it has the power to do the task at hand which this particular truck seems to be doing. Thanks again for the input.

With my '07 Ram 3500 6.7L CTD QC DRW LB, pulling a 13,000# 5er from SC to OH I got 9.9. Unloaded highway is never worse than 14.5, and usually 16. If I baby it and cruise at 55, I can hit 18.

Best ever was during the break in, I filled it up, drove at 50mph for 2 hours and filled it up again. 21.1 - I kid you not! So speed is very important apparently with these engines.

All hand calc'd...
