Warranty

My bumper to bumper is ending this month. My question is there any thing I should have done? Truck has almost 15k on it and nothing broken. I am just wondering if there is any preventive maintenance they can do on there bill?

Mine expired now, 3 years later, and I have only 9500 miles on it. Didn't get to use the B to B warantee at all...

I'll be in the same boat next year and I've got less than 6,000 miles on mine right now.

I should only have 9k on the truck but the other car went south on me 8 months ago. Thanks for the replies. I was just wondering.

I wish I could get a discount to have them keep their warantee... Luckily for me, my truck is not needed for my job or to commute. Just think of all the $ being saved on fuel from both Smarty and the low miles! Pays for lots of goodies! Jealous?

Yeah...

But on the flip side. Im at 64xxx. 95+ percent work usage. My trucks earns me the government allowed rate on mileage, which, has not been less than .50 cents since Ive bought it, and as high as .55 cents.

Thats right at 30k in cash....

Not too shabby

Now where in the heck did it all go?

I had 100K in the first 9 months. I have always said there should be an option to purchase a vehicle without the manufacturers warranty but from what I can recall, the warranty is enforced by our governments on the manufacturer.
My 6.7 did not need ANY warranty work and now has 147K miles. Time to change trans fluid and the crank oil though.

I knew it! Driving your truck makes you money... You just need to drive more! Reminds me of that commercial where the dimes are blowing out of the AC ducts and hitting the guys in the face.

Well I looked under the truck to day and saw that it looks like the rear main is leaking. Not Dripping but obviously wet on the inspection cover to the torque converter. Do you think that they will fix it? It looks really small but what is it going to look like in 30 more thousand miles. same with the rear diff yoke. One more week left on warranty.
