i have a 07 6.7 with a 6 speed manual tranny. the truck now has 5700 miles on it. it has already been in the shop for a new turbo and they put a new flywheel in it thinking that was the ticking noise. well the noise is still there. sounds like values but they have checked them two times. the noise sounds like its comming from the egr stuff on the passengers side but they dont know. they arent sure what to do and can figure out whats making the noise truck runs fine but that noise it makes drives me crazy. any info on what yall think it could be would be great.

 

injectors ? i have heard there is a fuel line or something you can tighten on the 5.9's i'm not sure on the 6.7 . maby someone else could help . i can't hear it on mine over the dual disk .

 

mine makes that ticking noise also, but so does every single one on the lot that i've seen. so w/e .. Nothing wrong that i can find.

 

well my 6.7 didnt do it when i 1st got it and now it does the dodge place says they cant figure it out but there is something not right.
