Looking for info or any info possiable I have ran straight pipe on my last three but after asking around I have been given mixed info on my 06 mega cab. has anyone tried or known anyone who has and what was the out come. Also I have been reading about different exhaust and is it necesseary to keep the cat. what are some options to try Im ready for somthing different and would like to do it this week. Thanks for the adavise.

Hey, you might have better luck if you posted this in the right section, theres another one for the pre 07 trucks (non 6.7L)

But at any rate, I straight piped my truck about a month ago, just pulled the muffler and ran a 4" pipe, I love it, lots of good noise, not so much drone. I woulnt reccomend pulling the cat, one because of the fuzz, two it adds alot of drone. But its your truck its up to you.

 

Thanks I am still trying to find my way around here it is just not working I will try to redirect my Question. YOu said you had taken yours off allready. Just the muffler not the cat and it has a good sound. I just recived my next upgrade Quadzilla Zillaraider but I have not hooked up yet no time, but it will be done this weekend for sure I will keep yall posted.

i took both the cat and muffler off and to tell u the truth its not too bad inside. with the radio up a bit u cant here it but once you put the windows down its edited by admin
