steering box

my steering has given me fitts this past week
need new steering box , whats a good heavy duty steering box
that I should be looking for
need your ideas



08 c/c inferno red, alum. flatbed, s/s tool boxes
6 spd manual, valair clutch, afe air intake rest is stock

Best I have run into thus far is redhead steering gear. Harvey Foster. he builds a good box, takes the time to do it properly, and stands behind his product. I put several reman boxes on an 05, with no luck at all, they kept failing. At that point, I ordered one from Harvey, and no kidding, you can feel the difference in it, right out of the package. Simple bolt on and go installation, and after several reman boxes in the span of a couple months, this one is over a year old without a hiccup.

Take that for what its worth.

the new gear box off the 2010 bolts right up and is a lot larger than ours.
