This might be understood, but I want to state it because it is not clear in previous posts.
The lower sulfur content is not the problem with ULSD. It is the process of removing the sulfur that removes some of the lubricity of ULSD.
I have been running ULSD in my '03 TDI Jetta and 95 12 valve since April of 06. I have not run any additives and I have no fuel leaks or injection pump problems.
Jetta runs 25,000 miles a year. Truck runs 10,000 miles a year.
Now back to the original discussion.

Oh, I should make it clear too, that like EB I am going off the sticker on the pump. I am not sure if I am running LSD or ULSD. I do not have the means to test the fuel to determine if it is one or the other.
