ok im sick of it,went camping up high west of yampa dirt roads and rough had to drive slow,wll guess what,dpf full 90% what bull****,now what i want to know is the smarty jr delete worth it,will it be a foolproof resoluton to the stupid dpf,on the same note it gave a egr blockage code,dealer said there was a recall on that and downloaded new software to solve problem can anyone give me a littlemore info in that,my truck is a 07.5,any input wouldbe appreciated,thanks

 

I highly suggest that if you have warantee still that you make sure the emmissions equipment is cleaned up and everything flashed to the latest level and all working.

Then, get a Smarty Jr (or Sr) ME and delete the NOX/DPF and EGR just like the instructions say for the Smarty.

You can put it back to stock if you need to and be assured that things were working when you deleted.

If you can leave things deleted then more power to you!

It will be the best thing you do or can do for your truck.
