Slipping?

Just wondering when I let off the throttle just a tad and then re-engage I sometimes get what feels like wheel hop from the back end. Only when empty and in 6th gear at least haven't paid enough attention in the other gears. Is this normal? I'm not being aggressive or anything usually just letting off to slow down for traffic and then resuming when I have comfortable spacing.

how many miles are on the truck? any excessive power mods? lots of towing that would cause trans wear? just curious as to the history to possible eliminiate variables

I am interested in the reply to this also...I have done deletes and smarty but run the low setting(3 I think) and truck seems to shutter when it shifts with low throttle every once in a while. Almost feels like it shifts too early.

The truck is stock only 21,000 miles and it's not during shifting that I have noticed. It almost seems like the exhaust brake is trying to engage and I'm on the throttle again before it does.
