Sad day!

Well after 8,800.0 trouble free miles it happen. I have the P-2262 and a 2nd code of P-2262 PD. If you would know me, running my truck easy is not my thing. Off to the dealer tomorrow for a desoot and then a few weeks later a new turbo. I think I know what the wife and kids can get me for Christmas, something that will remove something!!

Not to try and scare you or anything BUT I have read posts of dealers voiding warranties over a simple DPF back aftermarket exhaust...

Good luck.

They can try but it would be real hard on the Dodge because of the tailpipe doesn't work with the DPF like Ford and GM. I have heard of that to but I know a few people at this dealer because of me workingon the big Cummins engines in my fire trucks, fingers crossed!

Update, they did TSB 11.001.08, drill hole, install cleaner, plug, and drive the snot out of it. We'll see what happens and how fast the CEL comes back on! They only thing good about all of this the dealer is be cool about it because I know them.

Exactly what works??? Does just unplugging the egr solve the problem?? Do you have to wait till the CEL comes on and throws that code before you unplug it or just unplug it now. When you unplug it it will it set off codes or CEL??

Well it went to the dealer today and found a clogged boost sensor tube and dirty boost sensor. Hope this does it!
