Revelco or Dodge?

I have been having issues with the starter on my truck. After I would run the truck in warmer temperatures and shut the truck off for about 20 minutes then try to restart, it would not crank. I would then turn the key off and try it again and it would start up just fine. It has a Revelco setup on it that cuts the starter out but I don't know if that's what is doing it or the truck itself. I'm betting that Dodge will blame Revelco and vice versa. I am also getting no fault codes when this happens. I tried using the second Revlco plug and replacing the battery on the key.

Thanks,
Mike

Mike, contact the installer of the ravelco. I have installed a ton of them on the newer dodge trucks without a single issue. not saying that there may not be a loose connection but I would get ahold of the individual who installed the Ravelco. if you have any questions, feel free to contact me

Thanks,
I'll contact the installer to see what they say. Unfortunately The installer is about 200 miles away. I am South of Indianapolis, IN and they are in Toledo, OH. It is wierd though, it always turns over on the second try when it acts up.

Cbrahs, I have a Ravelco, on my 06, but it does not cut the starter out as Newblue says his does. It turns starter over without plug in, just won't start engine. Is it because his is 6.7 and I have a 5.9?
