Question for bigiron
Just wanna pick your mind a little seems ya might be a little more on top of things than myself.
Bought 2008 2500 last Dec. I have about 12,000 miles on her. It's been a bad summer, never got a chance to tow anything worth mentioning. Use the Eb about 50% of the time.
See my sig for what i have done with it in the last couple months.
I never had one bit of trouble, no codes, nothing. I have never had a flash done, except had the high idle enabled when i bought it, and very seldom used it
Question I have is should i take it in for a flash or just leave it alone? I've read about some of the updates, but what would i expect to see if i get a flash done, maybe a bad choice of words there but i think you will know what i'm getting at.
Another question is will my dealer way up here have the latest flash? How are they distributed? Sent by cd or internet download?
Long post but i am kinda indifferent about how some have said the flash seemed to do more harm than good.

Not sure who Bigiron is but I will give my input....
Lots of guys have found that their mileage and/or performance differs after getting a reflash done. Sometimes it's good and sometimes it's not. So, I think most people just wait until they are having problems that justify getting a reflash instead of doing it just because it's available.....

I had 13000 completely trouble and CEL-free miles on my truck until I took it in for the latest flash just because. 200 miles later i started the laundry list of CEL's on the truck. Take that for what it's worth.
completely agree...... if it ain't broke, don't flash it.
