powder coating coil springs

i want to change the color of my coils from red to black. is there a paint that i can use that is tuff enough or should i get them powder coated. and how much do you think it would cost.

You can normally have them powder coated cheaper than you can buy the materials. I'm guessing less than $100 for the pair..
