Powder Coating?????

Hello all, i got a quick question on powder coating, and need a quick answer.

I just recieved a set of Road Armor bumpers front and back, and I dontlike the color of powder coating (gray), it was my fault for not requesting a pic of the color before I ordered, but is there any cheap way I can paint them a different color? Is there a spray paint that will hold?

I can send them back but itll cost me shipping both ways plus $$$$ for the powder coating, any suggestions.

I would like to do it soon so i can get them mounted.

Thanks

this all depends on what type of powder is on the bumpers and what type powder is applied on top of the old powder.... there are a few types of powder.... the ones that i use (i do coatings on the side) are polyester powder and epoxy powders and they do not mix. they will wrinkle the finish and become brittle if the same type powder is not used to recoat..... ask me how i know best thing would be take some 400 to 600 grit sandpaper and wetsand the bumpers to take the sheen off of it and paint it with black bumper coating you can get at any parts store.... it'll look just as good.... it'll look like a satin black or you could go with a gloss black rustoleum grill paint.... it last good too.....
