I was looking at a 06 5.9 3500 mega for 33,000 with 33,000 miles but stumbled across a 07.5 6.7 mega with pretty much every option available on this truck except DVD. Truck is ruby red metallic, spray in bed liner, topper, nerf bars etc. Truck has 66,000 miles and they are asking 28,5000. Price seems pretty fair but the 07.5 6.7 worries me a bit but if i understand the info I have been reading, if a guy does the full delete package with the smarty tuner the truck is pretty truoble free. Any other things to be concerned with or need to be checked??

i agree with the smarty package my 07 6.7 mega has 37,000 on it had issues with o2 sensor tey added new software seemed to take care of it,then up camping in the hills a few weeks ago dpf loaded up barely made it out at 90 percent full then cel showed soot build up in egr took it in,and they said there was a recall on the egr software they wont tell dealer details but their mechanics say it relaxes the old software so its not so sensitive,i love the truck but hate the dpf and egr as soon as i get 600 bucks im gettin smarty,i would make sure all recalls have been done before you takeit home,then get the smarty good luck.

 

If you delete it, and Smarty it youre gonna venture into the "real excited to own a 6.7 area"
