Oil Filter (search is broke)

Im sure its a question thats been asked over and over again but the search is broke.

What kind of oil filter is the best for 6.7 2007?

Who has the best price on them?

I ran a napa gold in my 01 and it seemed to do its job really well...are they still good?

Yup.. I was just going to point you to Genos actually.

Truth be told, if you pull the filter from the top without the fancy wrench for the flats on the bottom the old 3894 Stratapores are a direct fit for a little less cost. I use those filters on both my trucks.

Try the local Cummins store. If you have a Cummins Power Club membership, they should be less than Geno's.

The latest Catalog prices from Geno's are $8.25 part No. LF3972 for the standard filter and the Stratapore is $12.95 Part No. LF16035. What is the cost from a Cummins dealer if you have a Cummins Power Club membership?

I saw on the site where they want 20 bucks per year to be a member. How much is 10% off oil filter and fuel filters? I dont know that I can justify the membership cost.

I've been using K&N oil filters. I like the 1-inch nut welded to the bottom of the filter. Makes removal & installation pretty easy. Hopefully, the filter is of good quality. The partial part no. for the 6.7 filter is 4003 (there are some letters before the number but I don't remember what they are)...
