No more rear heat in Mega!!

Rear heat in the Mega Cab is a thing of the past. I don't understand why they would do something so stupid considering a Mega Cab is supposed to haul people. The price sure never went down to reflect the change.

Your saying the MC doesn't have vents in the center console for the rear area anymore?!?

Hmmm, I wonder if Dodge changed it because the A/C sucks a$$ in the MC. Less air to the rear means more air out the dash.

The A/C could be part of it, but the floor vents in the rear only worked on the floor setting up front, or a combination of floor and something else. This would allow you to get full A/C at the dash regardless. To answer your question...the rear vents are gone!!

Air comes out of the back vents regardless of the setting up front. I have not seen the mega cab without the vents in the back, but if it is true it will be pretty miserable for anyone sitting back there.

Then that means no AC either. I would like to see a picture of the no vent console. Are they maybe under the front seats??

What I was saying is that if this is true.... did they remove the floor mounted cup holders and what not as well? So the person in the middle had foot space?

Heck, I've considered removing all the center console stuff so I could climb back there without getting out of the truck. I just can't live without my armrests and right now I don't want to spend the $$$ on captains chairs....

There isn't much air coming out that vent but at least it's something. I helped a member here pull his center console to install a NAV system in his truck. When we got the console out we were very surprised to see how loosely the parts of the duct work for that rear vent were put together. They didn't even put any duct tape or anything on the joints. Anybody who feels theirs isn't putting out enough air should look into this....
