got version AU downloaded today. havent had any issues or CEL but wanted to get the update to avoid those things...

on a side note i was talking with a guy there who was having to get his turbo replaced tomorrow... 4k miles on the truck... ouch. The service writer also has a 6.7 so i was chatting with him a bit about gauges for the truk. he said he isnt so sure he would even do that b/c dodge is requiring his dlrship to take pictures of the truck and everything before they can get parts. LOL that sounds kinda crazy but take that FWIW.

Wow, there's been 31 different issues so far w/ how many 6.7L trucks on this forum? How many have had ZERO issues? I'd think twice before I made a $40-$50000.00 investment on one of these things.

Riddler-I would say the comment from your dealer about not installing gauges is a bunch of dealership baloney. I installed the Commander gauge. I had the dealer ask me 1 time if I had put a chip or module into it. I told them "no" these were gauges only. They have never said a word since then and even asked me where I got the gauges in case other customers wanted to buy similar gauge sets through the dealership.

When I took my truck in 2 weeks ago for the AU flash update, there was a Dodge and a Cummins engineer at the dealership. They did a bunch of tests, drove the truck and generally crawled all over my rig for an hour or two and never said a word about the gauges

yeah thats kinda what i was thinking. They gave me good service other then that comment. They seemed to be the most compitent out of all the local stealers. Ill probably put the commander on like i had planned anyways.

Im just waiting for the turbo timer feature. Ive asked Qzilla when it would be available 2 times but got no answer. I could be waiting a long time apparently.

58k miles on the clock. Only issues have been EGR & DPF related. @ 58k miles the CEL is on AGAIN with less than 8k miles from the last EGR valve cleaning. Also starting to blow alot of smoke out the exhaust. Really blackens the rear quarter panel/bumper.

Mine sometimes shifts funny at about 40 mph if i'm holding it at that speed. It's like it doesnt know whether to shift up or to stay in 5th. I just put it down 5th manually so it'll hold it there. By the way.....ZERO problems.

I have 67,800 miles on my 6.7 with absolutely no issues with it.
Roughly 50% of those miles are towing travel trailers and 5th Wheels
of all sizes and weights.
I bought a Chassis Cab which doesn't have the DPF which may
be the reason for my good luck.

Hey Jerry - I have 19K on my pick up with 0 problems and LOVE it.
However, we to move RV's for a living and one of our company 2007.5 6.7's is a cab and chassis went for a dump at21k and has had 4 DPF's put on in the last 10K! Have another C&C with 68K 0 problems and another pick up at 21K 0 problems.

Mike

I only have 2400 miles but have had no problems. The oil change required light came on at 2120 miles and I had the AU flash performed this week to hopefully prevent check eng lights and future problems but I honestly have had no problems. This is my first diesel and the smoothness and quiet is unreal! Everyone who gets near it is amazed at how quiet it is too. Hopefully it'll be a long, pleasant experience!

Hi Dodge Man,

I was told by a parts guy at a Dodge dealership in Cheyenne Wy that the
Chassis Cabs didn't have DPFs,, only Catalyctic Converter and muffler.
The P/Us have DPF, Cat and Muffler.
I know mine has only the two, DPF and Muffler in the exhaust line so I'm confused.
Although I did cut my muffler out so I now have only the Cat
now.

On the c&c the dpf and the cat is one unit thats why they might be getting confused on the pickup truck it is 2 units but all the 6.7 have dpf

You need to tell your parts guy to go to dodge's web site and go to the Chassis Cabs spot it says right there: Catalyctic Converter and DPF.
If you removed the DPF you would have had to take out the Catalyctic Converter also to do it.

Just trying to help.
