New 08 fresh from the plant

Just got my replacement for my 07.5 that they lemon lawed, waited a month for them to build one set up like my old one. Is it possible to get a floor shifter 4x4, mine came with the dial-o-matic, not a fan. The dealer messed up on ordering and the new one has about half the options it should have. My main question is if anyone is familiar with the "Light Load" button? My new one has it and the dealer was not sure what it was for.

I think only the "Sport" package comes with a stick for the transfer case.

No idea on the "light Load" button.

I don't believe you can get a stick 4x4 shifter anymore.

The light load button is used in conjunction with the tire pressure monitoring system TPMS. It allows you to run lower pressure in the tires when the truck is unloaded (or lightly loaded). It should be explained in your owner's manual. 3500s do not have this button.

My 08 SXT came with auto and still has the floor shifter for the 4WD. It has the same lower console as the manual trans, but with a cover plate where that would be sticking out.

I was under the impression that there would be NO more floor shifter.

Sounds like they do still have it (and a lot of other things I've never heard of)
