Same as most everyone else. Initially 8-9 in town, 13-14 hwy. 3300 miles on it now, au flash when 02 sensor replaced, now 15.5-16.3 hwy. Haven't hand calced in town yet. Seems to have loosened up a titch after 3000 miles....

I get 14 to 14.5 around town, and about 18 or so mixed driving. I just got back from a trip to CO and got 19.1mpg on the way out hauling about 1200 lbs of stuff, and got 21.9 on the way home empty. I now have 5300 miles on it, and was blown away with the fuel mileage I got on the trip. I ran it pretty hard too. I was kind of dissappointed though, it will only go 104mph at 3000rpms. Stupid speed limiters. I drove between 65 on the OR 2 lanes and 85 across NV and UT interstates. On the way out I made it to Wells, NV before the low fuel light came on then I pumped it full, went to Grand Junction, fueled up before I left and made it to Winnemucca and fueled up there.

Loaded pulling a trailer with the edge on stage 6 and mp8 about 50% I averaged 12.3 mpg but my egts were real hot and I had to use a lot of water meth.

Unhappy Mpg

I've still only got 2500 miles on mine but I'm only getting 10-12 around town with an occasional freeway run. Hope it improves, but with 4/10 (or 4/11) gears in the rear, I don't expect much better.

I just filled up my tank, it took 56 gallons to the top of the neck and showed 856 miles on the trip odometer which works out to 15.2 mpg and that is all city and urban driving. I get between 18-19 mpg on the highway at 75 mph and the cruise turned on.

I got a little above 19 with it being empty (besides a passenger and luggage) on my way home from my last trip using a lot of cruise control at a little above the speed limit. The mileage on the way there sucked at around 14, but i was towing a heavy trailer with my 3500 pound toyota loaded on it. 330 miles each way, and it put me over 3000 miles on the odometer

Hey Ccoop, was wondering about your driving patterns. Do you use Cruise control?? Also, what is your usual cruising speed/ r.p.m.'s?? I'm doing a little better with the fuel mileage than you, but not by much. VERY painful for me as my 04.5 would get just over 20 m.p.g. @ a Cruise controlled 75 m.p.h. empty and would get between 13 to 15 m.p.g towing anything. I use the Cruise control as much as possible but I've never broken past 10 m.p.g. towing with the 6.7L. I tried slowing down to a Cruise controlled 68 m.p.h. on 1 trip, loaded, but found that the beast would downshift more on hills where it normally wouldn't @ 75 m.p.h. I think you have the 3:73 gears where I have the 4:10's.
