MEGA vs QC

Right or wrong I've always had a "bigger is better" thing. It's just my wife and I since the boys are grown, so maybe a MEGA CAB is overkill. My thinking: if the boys borrow the truck, they'll need the big back seat for their family. After seeing the QUAD CAB photos you guys posted, I'm thinking a QC might do the same thing and be less money too. They both look great in the photos. Is the QC uncomfortable with adults riding back there? Your thoughts......

All I can say is that I bought and love my MegaCab, the QC is just tiny by comparison!

When pricing out my '07, the MegaCab and the QC were only a couple dollars difference.

Warning: Do not place something on the back seat you're going to have to reach for while driving......it's not going to happen.

ya I could probably find some uses for it too, Id paint a mural on the side of some barbarian warror with a sword, standing on a rock with a girl on her knees grabbing onto his leg or something. throw some **** carpet in there and a waterbed and Id be rollin DEEP.

Now that mural thing is gettin' far too extreme for me even.

Well, I'll tell you, without going into details, that the manvan has already paid for itself if you know what I mean.

At the price either one of them sells for the difference should not be the determining factor.

If you plan on hauling people regularly get the Mega Cab - big back seat shorter bed. If you plan on hauling cargo get the Quad smaller back seat longer bed.

Does anyone know why Dodge went away from the suicide doors on the Quad cab? They were kind of handy - you could put stuff in the back seat and the front a lot easier.

My biggest decision was do I want a long bed? Or a big cab? I planned on hauling a lot so I got the long bed. With a second kid now the Mega cab would have been a better choice..... and a six speed. Hindsight's 20/20.

Anyone know why Dodge made the decision to only have the electric 4x shifter on the Mega cabs? Just curious.

Good advise. Mine is a hauler not a people mover so the QC was right for me.
