How does your truck handled?....Light front end?....I guess you have a slider?....If so do you slide it much in tight places?....trucksaledave

no slider,i pull a 40ft g/n so i don't have to worry about the back window.i haven't had any issues with a light front end even at 40k

we pull a total of 33K on a weekly with ours, and it has the longbed conversion. Has no issues at all.

I don't know if I would be afraid of the 08's. Seem like these guys are getting better all the time.

I would guess a mega wouldn't be any different than a short bed would it?? A good quality slider, or just some forethought before you back would handle any issues with the difference between a mega nad a long.

Mega Cab dually but its a long bed and theres a 14K fiver hooked on right now.
A little different then the short bed though. It tows real nice. I have the ride rites and the in cab adjustment...another nice add on to these trucks.
I also run an air ride 5th wheel hitch and this trailer required 75 pounds of air in the hitch. I do believe you will be fine. At one point I thought I did bad getting the 6.7 and now I am eager to tweak it a bit and pursue better mileage. That 5.9 is still a great way to go though. You would need to consider getting an exhaust brake with that...it makes a nice difference.

I slide over 4K lbs into the back of my Mega Cab Dually every other weekend during the summer. (Lance 861 Camper) Truck handles it great. Added air bags and lowered the overload contacts. At 85psi in the duals I still don't get full tread contact with the load. Exhaust brake is worth every penny!

That is freaking sweet. I guess that is a conversion. I would have considered one of those but didn't know they did them, so I bought the 6.7 Quadcab DRW Longbed. I have had 0.0 problems so far 18500 miles since 11/26/07... Anyway .... You have one sweet looking ride bro.....
