Introduce Myself/ New 6.7 Owner
I just wanted to introduce myself to everyone on this forum. I just bought my 07 MC 2500 CTD 6.7/68fre yesterday and wanted to share a few pic's with everyone. I got a deal I couldn't pass up, based on the limited availability of the 6.7 in the San Francisco Bay Area with $11k off MSRP. I look forward to everyone experience with CTD, as my previous experience has been with the Ford PWR Stroke.
Nice truck. Welcome to DTR.
I hope you have a small commuter car for the bay area, atleast parking anyways. I always had one heck of a time parking my rig around the Fishermans Warf area. Every spot is a compact spot, us big guys get no love.
I sure as heck couldn't fit into the parking garage. lol

Now once you get past your 500 mile to let diff gears to mesh go ahead and load a half ton or more weight in the bed and drive it for at least 24 hrs non stop except for fuel to help break in your engine some. I learned to do this to a diesel engine when I drove OTR years ago and I did the same on my new truck and I now have a truck that will get 20+ mpg on the Hwy. I had about 2000 lbs in it on Saturday when I took it for a 381.4 mile drive to clean out the winter carbon and only used 19 gallons of fuel. Oh I did use 16 oz of Lucas to make sure I got the injectors real clean so that may of helped the mileage some
Anyway enjoy your new
