My name is Mike and I'm a CTD-aholic. I just traded in my 98.5 3500 CTD 4x4 and got an 03 3500 SRW 4x4. It's schweeet!! I was getting tired of working on the truck all the time so I figured it was time to step up to an 03. I wish I could have gotten a HO but they were almost out of the 03s and they were really interested in moving them out. They had an 03 HO but it was a ST model and it had no creature comforts. Unfortunately I have gotten used to all the little things so I couldn't bring myself to buy it. It didn't even have a chrome grill!! I will say one thing though, that truck hauled ***!! (edited by Moderator) This one still has plenty of power and it's more than my 98.5 had, even with the Edge EZ. I guess I'll be getting one of those in the future.......

Congrats on your 03!!! My Dad ordered one and it should be here next Friday. He got the 4door 3500 HO with the Automatic tranny.

I am the original Dodgezilla!!!<br>KenR, This is my 4th CTD<br>92 club cab 4x4 LB Always in the shop<br>01 quad cab 4x2 shouldn't have bought a 4x2 -had 2 weeks<br>98.5 quad cab 4x4 trans problems since day 1<br>03 4x4 3500 No problems yet..<br><br>As you can see, I am a gluton for punishment. I have my fingers crossed that this will be the one I keep for years and years.....I just love the diesel. I had several gassers in between but I never felt like a real man driving one! <br><br>Ah, I love the smell of diesel in the morning!!

 

Dodgezilla<br><br>I see you are a faithful Dodge owner but had problems. I also had a 1994 Dodge 2500 V10 that was a problem and a buy back by DC but the previous 2 Diesels have been trouble free. Hopefully this one will be too.<br><br>I hope yours is also.<br>

 

Congrats, Dodgezilla, on the 03 and welcome to the 03 forums.<br>Be sure to check your rear axle for GL-5. American Axle seems to have a defective filler guy, obviously overpaid for the quality of his work. <br><br>Sure you will love your new wheels. ;D
