Intermittant check gauges light

Going down the highway lately at times the check gauges light will come on along with the warning chime, drive a short distance and it goes back off again. When this happens all gauges are reading normally, I have checked the alternator and temp and they both correlate with the gauge readings but haven't had time to check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge yet. Has anyone else come across this ?

How old are your batteries? To me they maybe in need of replacing have them load check at a auto parts store to see if they are going bad. Also check all electrical connections and make sure that the connections are clean and tight.

These trucks require clean flow of electrical powe tot insure that do not provide false readings.

Just a thought of what to look at.

Thanks for the suggestion, batteries are only a year old so I hadn't thought of that but anything is possible. Will take another look tomorrow.
