Idle curiosity...
Does anyone know if they fixed the oil sensor on these things to make it a real gauge or is it still just a glorified idiot light??
Also, just out of curiosity, has anyone tried removing the plunger from the egr while they are waiting on their deletes? Am just wondering if that was feasible while waiting on the delete stuff, the deletes are in the works but are on hold till our granddaughter is born.

Don't know about the oil pressure.. Haven' tested it myself with my own gauge.
For the EGR, just pull the plug on the EGR Valve on the drivers side instead of pulling the plunger. You are going to get a small CEL for the pulling the plug, but with the plunger out you will probably get a string of codes as well as the CEL lite for the engine and the thunderbolt for the system. I pulled the plug on mine for a while before I got the Smarty and it helped with keeping the soot out.
