I need advice!

I have an 08. Bone stock. I put 400 miles on it yesterday and came home and parked it. This morning there is a basketball sized puddle oF coolant on the ground. I crawl under and it is dropping off the passenger front side of the engine. Just off the corner. So I am thinking maybe the water pump is going bad. I drive it around town to the doctor, the kids school etc. I get home park in a different spot on the concrete and nothing. The engine has cooled off and nothing. Got any Ideas?

Take a flash light, crawl under the truck and look up at the water pump. You should see a weep hole. If it's dripping or looks like water came from it, it won't be long before you'll be replacing it. I would before it leaves you stranded.

www.genosgarage.com sells them way less then cummins or mopar. Even over nighted is cheaper then cummins or mopar.

How many Miles

My 08 gave out at 54000. Started with a tiny weep, one day it just started pukin its guts out. Sounds like yours is not far off.

Its covered under the 100k Cummins warranty. If youre under that, stop in to the dealer for a free one.

What Blake said. Mine cut loose last summer, with app. 45k on the truck. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was covered by warranty.

Ive got 44,000 miles on it. It did it again yesterday but it waited until the block heater was plugged in overnight. As soon as I feel well (sick). I will go crawl under it. Thank you for your advice.
