There's more to it than 20" of steel, or plenty of people would have the conversions - and DC would already have it as an option.

Ha-Ha-Ha...... No, No....... I understand. I was just makeing a fast funny point. Im in a business that understands what $$$$$ is involved in changins such a thing in a mass produced thing... For most people it would BLOW your mind on what is involved and the money involved.....

I WISH it was only 20" of steel !! ! !

Do you know Red Brown? Do you have any pictures of 'there' truck? I would like to see a forum member take a few of there own pictures and fire them up on here...... We are up in Dallas Ft Worth area and I think we will probably take a trip down to longbedmegacab guys and look it over...... If the 'work' is good Im thinking im going to get this done. I think it lookes freaking AWESOME ! WAY better that the short box with the funky flairs. Those are two thumbs down for me and a one of these

looks a lot better than the short box dually. Might be too long, the red one is almost high centered on the trailer. They must have extra long ramps to load them.

Benny Boyd had one a couple of weeks ago when I went to get my truck after having some service done. I would not mind having one if we traveled full time to pull the 5th wheel with but not for everyday driving. I have to park in a parking garage at work and it is hard enough with my truck much less one that is longer. I believe the salesman told me it was about $6500 added to the price of the truck for the conversion.
