I you do it, make sure to check with the dealer you buy the truck from, that they will warranty the truck. The guy that does the conversion has contracts with several dealerships stating they will not void the Dodge warranty if he converts it. He covers everything he modifies for 3/36. I will be getting my truck thru his flagship dealership in a couple of months.

Central Texas Frame and Alignment is the ones that have the megcacablongbed.com website. They are in Elm Mott, just north of Waco. Just look for the big rig in the air on the NB side of I-35. VERY impressive truck, I've seen him a bunch around West.

If its as good as it looks I think we are going to do this for sure... I really like the looks and it will do JUST what we want!

Yeah get some pics and post em if they've got one there to look over. I dont think anybody I've seen here has one of those you'd be the first if you did the conversion. You could start up an exclusive LongBedMegaCab club. The plain Mega guys won't like that at all. They'll probably put a price on your head and then Wiggs'll be paying you a visit

Have to wonder how much more it would cost if Dodge was to sell it as an option, or another model choice. I don't think it would cost more then say, an extra thousand?

What it "should" cost us... = $1000.00

What the "steeler" would charge us = $3500 - $6000 for 20" of steel. Just about what the guys in TX are charging..

I still think that "set up" is the coolest freaking looking truck in the world ! JMOP ! (is that even a proper sentance?)

Reb Brown had his done and it looks freakin sweet. its white and was done by megacablongbeds.com and it looks so factory its amazing. looks way better than the short box. it uses a long beg off of a regular truck so you get rid of those goofy rear fenders. looks really good.
