How many miles do you have?? Any problems??
32k on mine & zero problems at all, & my tailpipe is still clean as a whistle too! my only complaint is that it gets really crappy fuel mileage when it's empty, I can't complain at all about the mileage when she's loaded, I generally keep above 11mpg even grossing 25k or better & it does good, but empty i rarely get much above 15.5mpg, all in all I'm very pleased with my truck so far, actually considering picking up another one just like what I have but a reg. cab, delivering equipment out in the hills around here can get kinda tight with a 4-door, & I'm sick of our old 96' F-350 powersmoke, so I'm leaning towards gettin another 6.7L, guess I should be really worried then with 2 of these pieces of junk!!! LOL
15 k in 1 1/2 months. Problem Free... Just Oil and Filter Changes.. Great truck ... Mileage is 12-13 City and 16-17 on the Highway. Love it. Quiet, Powerful, Smooth, Quick, and Beautiful.. what more can I say..
Just over 10K on mine. Only problem I've had is when we bought the truck in OK, the next day, it wouldn't hardly run. Shut ti off, started again, ran like crap. Shut it off, started again and has ran great ever since.
They thing I find the most interesting about this thread is every single person that posted that owned a 6.7 said really no problems and they loved it. Every single person, but 2 that posted that didnt own a 6.7 said they were nothing but problems and they wouldnt buy one. I find this kinda funny. You comment on and about a truck that you do not have and then go by what happened to your cousins uncles brothers sons truck. The 6.7 would be alot better truck if you guys with the 5.9s wouldnt bash it so much, when you have no room to talk. If you have a 6.7 and have had problems let us now if you have a 5.9 I want to tell us how stupid we are for buying a 6.7 and how great your 5.9 is keep you mouth shut. I bet no other 6.7 owners want to hear it either. The post is how many miles and what problems not. Why dont you like the 6.7, 5.9 owners. I still bet someone else will post after me that doesnt have a 6.7 and say they are nothing but problems. I wish was an admin. to delete all those post that ruin the thread. As last just rolled over 10,0000 miles not any problems at all.
My 7.3 Ford Diesel has 180,000 wonderful miles on it.
Sorry...I had to...
My truck has been in shop (4) times. First the valve cover was leaking at the back of engine. Than started having problems with the emmisions, EGR stuck open etc. Had all of the recall flashes done. The dealer installed new turbo like the ones in the 2008 6.7 cummins so far so good. I still like the truck and don't plan on getting rid of it anytime soon. All problems started at 1800 miles now have over 4000 miles on it.
no probs yet
Ok so i have about 3000 miles on her, not enough yet to really start the celebration, but add me to the no problems yet catagory. I love this truck better than my o6, and no i had no prob's with that one also. Gas milage is roughly the same so far but haven't really did the calculations yet.
What really has surprised me is overall MPG is about the same as my 06' 5.9. I expected much worse with 15 ppm to boot. Maybe the Tranny design helps somehow, I don't know.
I can't say it enough. The motor/auto tranny set up is just terrific.

6800 on mine today. went through a tank of fuel today, 501 miles and filled up 29.8 gals. Right at 15mpg. The only, and I mean ONLY thing that is borderline deal breaker on this truck for me is the seats. After 4+ hours in the seat (which i spend alot of time doing) it is nearly unbearable on my lower back. I am 27 years old and am in college athelete shape, my back shouldn't be screaming like this. I am looking to swap a set of 03-05 leather seats in the truck; i've never had a problem with my dad's '05 for extended periods of time. Already talked to the dealer, and the seat tracks are the exact same so it is a direct swap. After that, the truck is as close to perfect as can be without me building it myself, for myself.
