I have a quick question, friends. The picture below shows the wire that is supposed to be grounded to enable high idle. Is that all that needs to be done or does the computer need to be accessed? Thanks in advance....

 

you need to ground that wire to one of the nuts that are right next to it, then have your dealer enable the high idle feature with starscan. that's it.

 

I have looked everywhere on a 2007 5.9 3500 4x4 but can't find the wire. I have even taken out the mian wiring connections and untaped to look behind and through the wires. If some one could take a picture of where you found it I would be very thankful. All pictures that I have seen have been after its been located and pulled out.

 

And what about these wonderful plastic clutch pedals. Whole assemply looks plastic. 1st I've ever seen on any make or model heavy truck.

 

it's totally different on the 5.9. do a search for 5.9 high idle and you should come up with the info needed.
