How do you enable high idle on 06 G56?

Just wondering how to enable the idle-up feature on my truck. Do I have to take it in to the dealer, or can I do it myself? Thanks.

Are you serious????
that is the easiest mod there is...all you do is ground the pigtail and plug it in...what so hard about that????

So the $200 cummins clutch switch is must, or is it the same as a pigtail? Sorry man, I'm really bad w/electronics and wiring. I stick to welding and lift kits.

all you need is the $13 pigtail...the switch is a waste of money IMO
soon as you touch the brake it kills the high idle with the pigtail so I don't see where the safety switch would do anything anyway???

Got it. Thanks for all the help. Looking forward to setting it up. I run my winch alot at work, and am sick of stuffing a 2x4 between the diesel pedal and the seat frame (I know pretty ghetto, but it worked) Aloha, Zander.
