HELP---DEALER says $4,400!!!!????

dealer says warranty voided on bad injector, and bad lift pump because i have a dot legal aux fuel tank in the bed and it gravity feeds (through an inline filter)into filler neck-between cap and tank.the truck is 06' with 83,000 miles.they say any mod to a vehicle voids all warranty!even though i am double filtering the fuel.it's not like i modified factory filter or cut line between tank and engine or cut a hole in my tank!i know there thousands of other hotshotters out there with similar setup.what to do ???????????????

EDIT:they told me the leaky inj. caused the pump failure so whts that have to do with my tank?

call Tim at Helfman dodge and explain your situation and see what he says. I have had nothing but good luck and honesty with this guy.

I only know because I've been researching a tank for my truck. Man they're expensive. But now I'm going to pay attention to this thread very closely to see how it shakes out.

If his crapy dealer has reported it to chrysler he is in trouble. No dealer can fix it then even if they want to.
