thanks for the help Brett,got it up to Team Dodge Huntsville and they said it shouldn't be a problem but they won't know if Demontrond 'flagged' it until monday.then i got my first peek at some 08' 4500 and 5500s

Im just saying its illegal cause 3 different mechanics of different truck shops that sell aux tanks say they cant install the plumbing to make gravity fed.

did they give you any reason why the injector pump went? I'm new to this site, and not sure if this is an already known fact or not. I spoke with a local cummins guy and he told me that the new ultra low sulfer fuel is loosening up sediment in the tanks and causing fuel filters to clog earlier than they should. He explained any resistance to the injector pump will cause them to go. He has changed many of them, it's more of a cummins issue than gm or ford. For some reason they are sensitive. He told me he installs a indicator light for about $100.00 and that if it gets resistance, it will notify you so you can change filter. Just giving my .02 .... I may just be repeating what everybody knows,

That's bassackwards! That is saying too much flow caused the pump to fail!

IT FEEDS THE FUEL DIRECTLY TO THE CARBURETOR OR INJECTOR.
