Maybe I just cant see it very well, but that didnt look like the new 6.7 platform. Still looked like the 5.9

 

pretty sure that was the 6.7, they had the top shroud off the motor that covers the egr crud, and you could see a brozed over recirc pipe on the right/ drivers side of the motor, just guessing that is what I saw.

 

Look for the EGR tube at about 13 seconds into the video...

 

FOR SURE 6.7, I looked at it about five times before I posted, (I) wanted to make sure !!!!

 

It has the 68rfe also, you can tell by the dash, it only goes to "D".

 

So where was the smoke? Was there none, or did I miss something?

ON EDIT- I missed the exhaust evac tube the first time I saw it - sorry.

 

IT was a 6.7 for sure. You could tell by the intake manifold and egr stuff on it I think they took all the covers off.

 

The way the 6.7 builds boost they are probably running fuel on the ragged edge( no pun intended) to save the dpf

 

I want to see a burnout or a boosted launch or something a "dyno vid" really doesnt tell ya much about their new chip.
